The Bears Found A QB

bears-cutlerThe Denver Broncos announced Thursday they have agreed in principle to trade QB Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears.  Sources in Denver say the Bears will receive Cutler and the Broncos’ fifth-round pick in April’s draft, while The Bears send Kyle Orton, their first round picks this year (18th overall) and in 2010 and the team’s third-round pick in 2009.

According to Chicagosports.com Linebacker Brian Urlacher was shocked to hear the Bears had acquired Cutler. “I guess the Bears felt like we needed another quarterback, so they made a move,” Urlacher said. “They gave up a lot. Cutler must be pretty good.”  “But I will say this: I think Kyle Orton is a good quarterback. He’s a great teammate. I hope he does really well in Denver.”

The Bears travel to Denver to face the Broncos and Kyle Orton Aug. 30 in a nationally-televised Sunday Night Football game on NBC.
